Millicent Lights up 2017

MBCA are proud to host the Millicent Lights up event to welcome in the Festive season and give children the opportunity to have some free entertainment and to meet Father Christmas. A record crowd gathered at the Rotunda to enjoy the event. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us.  This was all made possible by community groups comming together to create something special. A very big thank you to Wattle Range Council for their sponsorship and support for this event. Also to Millicent Lions club, Lioness Club of Millicent, Rotary Club of Millicent Inc, Scouts and Girl Guides, Millicent Community Church, Julianne McDuff from Mainly Music and Drew Baker for your wonderful contribution for the evening. To Fosters Foodland for their generous donation of lollies for the children. Thankyou to the Men’s shed for the great christmas cutouts they have been making throughout the year. To our elves Chantelle and Drew another great job and of course Santa for taking the time to visit us. There was a very long line of children lining up to say hello. MBCA hopes to host this event each year into the future.
