The MBCA was hosted by Bank SA on June 23rd for a Business at Sunset. We were shown the technology that the bank uses with video link ups and told about different services they provide. An informative evening was enjoyed by all.
On Thursday 6th Dec MBCA members attended a Business at Sunset at the Millicent Post office. Joanne Leyden and her staff gave members an informative tour behind the scenes at the Post Office.
Another successful Business at Sunset was held on Sept 27th at The Shearers Cook Café where Melissa Armfield showcased her business and shared some of her highlights and dreams.
AC Care hosted the MBCA members for the 4th Business at Sunset on April 18th at their premises in George street Millicent. We learnt so much about what services are offered at AC Care. Business at Sunset is an MBCA initiative to educate and network with other businesses.
3MP hosted the 2nd Business at Sunset and showed us around their workshop and how some of the machinery works. Thank you to Steph, Karen and Mike for hosting us.
Christine Try, proprietor of In Store was the host of our first Business at Sunset where members meet to be shown another business and a chance to network. Christine spoke a little of her journey and how she got to where she is now. MBCA hope to hold about 4 of these events a year.
