Millicent Lights Up 2018

The MBCA were pleased to host another Lights Up event on Sat 24th November at the Millicent Rotunda where there was lots of entertainment for the children and Father Christmas paid us a visit and handed out bags of lollies to the children.

The event was funded by the MBCA with support from Wattle Range Council. Fosters Foodland donated the bags of lollies for the children.

Millicent Lions Club, The Lioness Club, Millicent Rotary and McArthur Park kindergarten had food stalls, while the Girl Guides and Centacare provided games for the children. Putt Putt, Jumping Castle, Naracoorte Apex train and face painters kept the children amused.

The IMAG group town piano also was at the rotunda with Shari Noll, Caitlyn Altswhager and Drew Baker sharing their musical talent.

Once again Julianne McDuff from Mainly Music entertained the young ones with some songs  and Nathan McDuff worked the sound system.

The Rotunda lights were turned on at dusk.

The MBCA are proud of this event and with the support from council look forward to growing the event each year.
